Innovation
The Fiera di Milano has been the stage for Italian creativity and entrepreneurship for over a century. It occupies a sort of middle ground in the collective imagination, somewhere between the great springboard of industrial innovation and a kind of machine of wonders.
In the decades that followed the Second World War, the years of the economic boom brought unprecedented success in terms of visitors and participation, and the Campionaria became the place to do business, and to meet people and to learn about and touch (literally) progress.
Today, the Fiera di Milano still plays a dual role: it is the place where the general public encounters major material innovations, but it is also the ambassador of a real cultural revolution, presenting products as an idea of economic circularity, values and people.
